Intermediate League Softball- 3rd, 4th and 5th Grades

This is a player pitch league. Fundamentals include: proper throwing mechanics, batting stance and hitting, fielding skills, catching, proper pitching and base running. We emphasize having fun together as a team, learning positive sportsmanship, and developing player's confidence in their athletic abilities. Base path is 60 feet and pitchers mound is 35 feet from home plate. If the count from the batter reaches four balls, the coach of the batting team steps in to pitch five pitches. The batter either strikes out, gets a hit, or runs out of pitches.
